I’m the woman behind The Healthy Pet Mama… and the human behind 13 cat and 2 dog rescues.
Yes, really. And no, I’ve never gone out to get a cat (they’re all strays that found me!).
My life is a mix of fur, chaos, love, and a constant effort to keep everything, and everyone, running smoothly. Most of my days revolve around feeding, cleaning, training, and making sure 15 animals are healthy, enriched, and cared for.
And somewhere along the way… I realized I wasn’t taking care of myself.
Like a lot of people, I got stuck in the cycle of being “too busy” to eat well, work out, or build any kind of routine that actually supported my energy, focus, or mental health. By the time I finished taking care of everyone else, I had nothing left for me.
That’s what this blog is about. I’m not here to give you perfect routines or unrealistic wellness advice. I’m sharing what has actually worked for me on my journey to become healthier, stronger, and more consistent in a life that doesn’t slow down and doesn’t leave much extra time for me, in hopes that it can help you do the same.
